The core of Vera’s new brand is the idea of reframing justice. True justice is achieved when it is seen through the overlapping lenses of fairness and human dignity. This idea, as well as its visual motif became the driving force behind the brand.
Vera’s work is organized into three commitments; Securing Equal Justice, Ending Mass Incarceration, and Strengthening Families and Communities. Each commitment is complex, and acts as an umbrella containing a variety of issues. To visually represent these complex ideas, we worked with Brian Stauffer to create images that got to the core of each commitment.
A modular system
The site is built with a modular system that organizes a vast amount of content into and easy to navigate and logical system. Adding to the research and analytical qualities of the site, we created an editorial look and feel that makes navigating the site engaging and elevates Vera’s story.
